Ludovico Einaudi in Iași

Ludovico Einaudi is an Italian pianist and composer, born in Turin in 1955, who writes contemporary classical music shaped by repeating piano figures and spacious instrumental arrangements. His best-known works include “Le Onde,” “I Giorni,” “Una Mattina,” “Nuvole Bianche” and “Experience,” while albums such as Divenire and In a Time Lapse brought his music to a broad audience. A 2010 concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall was documented on the album and concert film Live at the Royal Albert Hall. He later toured programmes based on Elements, the seven-part Seven Days Walking cycle and Underwater, moving between solo piano passages and arrangements for strings, percussion and electronics.
