Comedian
Zakir Khan is an Indian stand-up comedian and writer, born in Indore in 1987. He won Comedy Central’s India’s Best Stand Up Comedian competition in 2012 and became known for his “sakht launda” persona, conversational Hindi storytelling and specials including Haq Se Single, Kaksha Gyarvi and Tathastu. Zakir Khan toured Tathastu as an autobiographical stand-up show before it was released as a Prime Video special. In 2023, he performed a Hindi-language set at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
