Indigo Girls in Myrtle Beach

Indigo Girls are an American folk-rock duo formed in Atlanta in 1985 by Amy Ray and Emily Saliers. Their paired vocal harmonies and acoustic-guitar songwriting are heard on songs including “Closer to Fine,” “Galileo” and “Power of Two,” and on albums such as Indigo Girls and Rites of Passage. The duo joined the inaugural Lilith Fair tour in 1997 and returned for later editions of the festival. The 2018 concert album Live with the University of Colorado Symphony Orchestra documented their songs in orchestral arrangements, and a 2023 joint tour paired them with Neko Case. They play Atlanta and Nashville frequently, and their Nashville concerts have included the Ryman Auditorium.
