About Infected Rain
Infected Rain is a Moldovan metal band formed in Chișinău in 2008. Fronted by Elena Cataraga, known as Lena Scissorhands, the group plays alternative metal shaped by nu-metal and metalcore. Songs including “Orphan Soul,” “Mold” and “The Earth Mantra” sit alongside albums such as Endorphin, Ecdysis and Time.
In 2019, Infected Rain opened on the European tour co-headlined by Lacuna Coil and Eluveitie. The band later headlined European clubs on the Ecdysis by Night Tour, taking material from its 2022 album into a full-band concert setting.
In Germany, the band has performed at Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze Open Air. It has also toured the United States and Canada.
