Artists
Interpol is an American rock band formed in New York City in 1997. They play taut post-punk and are known for the albums Turn On the Bright Lights and Antics, including the songs “Obstacle 1,” “PDA,” “Evil” and “Slow Hands.” In 2017, Interpol marked the debut album’s fifteenth anniversary by performing it in full on tour. Five years later, the band and Spoon co-headlined the Lights, Camera, Factions tour across North America. Interpol has performed at Coachella and Glastonbury and has returned to Barcelona for multiple editions of Primavera Sound.
Bloc Party are a British indie-rock band formed in London in 1999 by Kele Okereke and Russell Lissack. Their debut album, Silent Alarm, established their guitar-driven, post-punk sound through songs including “Banquet,” “Helicopter” and “This Modern Love”; later releases include A Weekend in the City and the electronic-leaning single “Flux.” In 2018, Bloc Party began an anniversary run on which they performed Silent Alarm in full. The concerts extended into 2019, and the performance released as Silent Alarm Live was recorded at Alexandra Palace. The band has also performed repeatedly at Glastonbury and at the Reading and Leeds Festivals.
