Iron Savior is a German power-metal band formed in 1996 by singer and guitarist Piet Sielck, guitarist Kai Hansen and drummer Thomen Stauch. Its melodic heavy metal often draws on science-fiction themes, established on the self-titled debut and continued through albums including Unification, Condition Red and The Landing; “Heavy Metal Never Dies” became a staple of the later catalogue. Iron Savior played Wacken Open Air during the band’s early years and went on to tour the European club and metal-festival circuit. In 2015, the concert album and video Live at the Final Frontier documented a full-band performance at Knust in Hamburg.
