U.D.O. in Hamburg

U.D.O. is a German heavy metal band formed in 1987 by singer Udo Dirkschneider after his departure from Accept. The group established its own catalogue through albums including Animal House, Mean Machine, Faceless World and Timebomb, and songs such as “They Want War” and “Man and Machine.” The concert release Live in Sofia documented a 2011 performance, while Navy Metal Night paired the band with Marinemusikkorps Nordsee in 2014 for orchestral arrangements of its material. The Game Over and Touchdown albums later provided the basis for further headline tours. U.D.O. have taken their live show well beyond their home country, touring Russia and performing at Sweden Rock Festival.
