Ivy Lab in Chicago

Ivy Lab is a British electronic music project formed in London in 2012 by drum-and-bass producers Sabre, Stray and Halogenix. Its music covers halftime bass, drum and bass and instrumental hip-hop; key releases include the album Death Don’t Always Taste Good and tracks such as “Sunday Crunk,” “Cake” and “Orange.” The project also established the 20/20 LDN label. Ivy Lab performed a bass-heavy DJ set for Boiler Room, a format the project has carried into club tours and festival appearances. Beyond Britain, its bookings have included Outlook Festival on Croatia’s Adriatic coast and Shambhala Music Festival in British Columbia.
