Jan Jelinek is a German electronic musician and producer known for minimal compositions assembled from loops, fragmented samples and subtle rhythmic patterns. Working under his own name and the aliases Farben and Gramm, he established his approach on releases including Personal Rock, Loop-Finding-Jazz-Records and Kosmischer Pitch.

In 2001, Jan Jelinek performed with the Japanese ensemble Computer Soup; the collaboration was documented as Improvisations and Edits, Tokyo, 26 September 2001. Later in the decade, he performed in the improvising trio Groupshow with Andrew Pekler and Hanno Leichtmann.
