About Telefon Tel Aviv
Telefon Tel Aviv is an American electronic project formed in New Orleans in 1999 by Joshua Eustis and Charles Cooper. Its detailed, glitch-based sound moves through ambient music, IDM and synth-pop; the project is best known for the albums Fahrenheit Fair Enough, Map of What Is Effortless and Immolate Yourself. Eustis continued under the name after Cooper died in 2009.
During the 2000s, Telefon Tel Aviv took its early records to clubs and electronic-music festivals as a duo. In 2019, performances surrounding Dreams Are Not Enough presented the project in its later solo form, led by Joshua Eustis.
