Jane McDonald in Sheffield

Jane McDonald is a British singer and television presenter, born in Wakefield in 1963. The 1998 BBC documentary series The Cruise followed her work as a singer aboard a cruise ship, and her self-titled debut album subsequently reached number one on the UK albums chart. Her recordings include “The Hand That Leads Me” and versions of standards such as “You’re My World.” The Singer of Your Song tour took her through UK theatres in 2018. She returned to the road with Let the Light In in 2022, followed by another theatre run built around the 2024 show With All My Love.
