Joe McElderry is an English pop singer from South Shields, born in 1991. He won the 2009 series of The X Factor and released “The Climb” as his debut single; his albums include Wide Awake, the classical-crossover record Classic and Saturday Night at the Movies. The X Factor Live Tour took him to arenas around the UK and Ireland in 2010. He later returned to theatres as a solo headliner, including The Evolution Tour and Saturday Night at the Movies Live.
