Jasmine Myra is a British saxophonist, composer and bandleader from Leeds who plays instrumental jazz marked by spacious ensemble writing, ambient textures and spiritual-jazz influences. She records for Gondwana Records, and her principal releases include the albums Horizons and Rising. After Horizons, Jasmine Myra took her ensemble to UK and European stages, including Band on the Wall in Manchester and the Howard Assembly Room in Leeds. Performances around Rising expanded that live repertoire, while festival appearances have included We Out Here and Love Supreme.
