About JAURIM
JAURIM is a South Korean alternative-rock band formed in 1997 and fronted by singer-songwriter Kim Yoon-ah. The group debuted with “Hey Hey Hey” and the album Purple Heart; “Magic Carpet Ride” and “Twenty-five, Twenty-one” are among its best-known songs.
Before its recording debut, JAURIM played clubs in Seoul’s Hongdae district under the name Ugly Duckling. In 2022, the band brought its MERRY SPOOKY X-MAS concert to Olympic Hall during its 25th-anniversary year. Its outdoor festival history includes performances at Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival and Busan International Rock Festival.
