Jens Lekman is a Swedish singer-songwriter from Gothenburg who makes indie pop shaped by conversational storytelling, samples and orchestral pop arrangements. Born in 1981, he is known for the albums Night Falls Over Kortedala and Life Will See You Now, as well as songs including “Maple Leaves,” “A Postcard to Nina” and “Your Arms Around Me.” Touring behind Night Falls Over Kortedala included appearances at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. In 2017 he toured Life Will See You Now through clubs and theatres, playing New York and London.
