Jeremy Hotz is a Canadian stand-up comedian and actor who was born in South Africa and raised in Ottawa. He is known for anxious, deadpan observational comedy and a perpetually aggrieved stage persona, captured in specials including What a Miserable Show This Is! and Dangerously Handsome.
He established his live reputation through repeated appearances at Montreal’s Just for Laughs festival. He later took full-length stand-up productions across Canada, including the Magical Misery Tour and Marquis de Sad Tour.
