Their music draws on progressive rock, folk and hard rock, and Anderson’s flute became a central part of their sound. The band are known for the albums Aqualung and Thick as a Brick, as well as songs including “Living in the Past” and “Locomotive Breath.” In 1968, Jethro Tull appeared in London for The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus.
