Víctor Manuel is a Spanish singer-songwriter, born in 1947 in Mieres, Asturias, whose work draws on folk, pop and the canción de autor tradition. His best-known songs include “Solo pienso en ti,” “El abuelo Vítor,” “Soy un corazón tendido al sol” and “Asturias,” a setting of a poem by Pedro Garfias. In 1994, Víctor Manuel and Ana Belén recorded the concert album Mucho más que dos at the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid. Two years later, they joined Joan Manuel Serrat and Miguel Ríos for the El gusto es nuestro tour, taking the four singers through Spain and Latin America. The quartet reunited in 2016 for El gusto es nuestro, 20 años.
