Jim Moray in Birmingham

Jim Moray is an English folk singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer, born in 1981. He became known for placing traditional songs in arrangements shaped by guitars, keyboards and electronic textures, particularly on the albums Sweet England, Low Culture and Skulk. Jim Moray has performed at Cambridge Folk Festival and Glastonbury, while his own concerts have taken him through British folk clubs, arts centres and theatres. He presents the material in solo sets and full-band performances, and has also toured in False Lights, the folk-rock group he formed with Sam Carter.
