Jim Norton is an American stand-up comedian, radio host, actor and author, born in 1968. His comedy is marked by explicit self-examination and dark observations, heard in specials including Monster Rain, Please Be Offended and Mouthful of Shame. He is also known for his years on Opie and Anthony and as co-host of Jim Norton & Sam Roberts.

In the early 1990s, Norton opened for Andrew Dice Clay, an association that helped establish his work on the comedy-club circuit. He later performed on the Opie and Anthony Traveling Virus Comedy Tour in 2006 and 2007. His solo stage work has also been preserved in filmed theater performances: Monster Rain was taped at the Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D.C., and Mouthful of Shame at the Skirball Center in New York.
