About Jimmy Dore
Jimmy Dore is an American stand-up comedian and political commentator, born in Chicago in 1965. He is best known as the host of The Jimmy Dore Show and for television stand-up including Comedy Central Presents and the special Citizen Jimmy.
Jimmy Dore began performing stand-up in Chicago in 1989 and later appeared at Just for Laughs in Montreal and the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. He subsequently took his topical comedy and political commentary into theatres through live editions of The Jimmy Dore Show.
