Jo Koy in Green Bay

Jo Koy is an American stand-up comedian and actor, born in Tacoma, Washington, in 1971. He is known for observational routines about parenthood, his Filipino American family and cultural misunderstandings, as well as the specials Live from Seattle, Comin’ In Hot and Live from the Los Angeles Forum. He also starred in the family comedy Easter Sunday, which drew on elements of his own life. Live from Seattle was filmed at the Moore Theatre and released in 2017. Jo Koy later took the Just Kidding World Tour to audiences around the world, then recorded Live from the Los Angeles Forum at the Kia Forum for its 2022 release. His theatre and arena performances are solo stand-up shows built around storytelling, character voices and physical act-outs. Family members, particularly his mother and son, recur throughout his material. For In His Elements, Jo Koy filmed in Manila and featured Filipino American comedians, DJs and dancers. His tours in Australia have also reached Sydney and Melbourne.
