Jodeci in Thackerville

Jodeci is an American R&B quartet formed in Charlotte, North Carolina, by brothers K-Ci and JoJo Hailey and brothers DeVante Swing and Mr. Dalvin. Their close harmonies, new jack swing rhythms and hip-hop-influenced soul shaped albums including Forever My Lady, Diary of a Mad Band and The Show, the After Party, the Hotel. Their best-known songs include “Come and Talk to Me,” “Forever My Lady,” “Cry for You” and “Freek’n You.” In 2022, Jodeci joined New Edition and Charlie Wilson on The Culture Tour. They followed it with the 2023 Summer Block Party Tour, accompanied by SWV and Dru Hill, then staged JODECI: The Show, The After Party, The Vegas Residency at House of Blues Las Vegas in 2024.

Bobby Brown is an American R&B and pop singer, born in Boston in 1969. He first became known as a member of New Edition before establishing a solo career built around new jack swing. His second album, Don't Be Cruel, produced the signature songs “My Prerogative,” “Every Little Step” and “Roni.” Bobby Brown took that album on the road with the Don't Be Cruel Tour and later mounted the Humpin' Around the World Tour. In 2018, he toured with Ronnie DeVoe, Ricky Bell and Michael Bivins as RBRM, then reunited with the full New Edition lineup for The Culture Tour in 2022, which also featured Charlie Wilson and Jodeci.
