Joe Alterman in Cambridge

Joe Alterman is an American jazz pianist and bandleader from Atlanta who plays swing-rooted jazz, blues and ballads. His recordings include Give Me the Simple Life, The Upside of Down and Joe Alterman Plays Les McCann: Big Mo & Little Joe; saxophonist Houston Person has also appeared on his records. Joe Alterman has performed at New York jazz clubs including the Blue Note and Birdland, as well as the Kennedy Center in Washington. He usually leads a piano trio, and his concert collaborations have included Les McCann and Houston Person.
