John 5 in Bristol

John 5 is an American guitarist, born John Lowery in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, in 1971. He is known for his work with Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie and Mötley Crüe, as well as instrumental solo albums including Vertigo, Songs for Sanity and The Devil Knows My Name. His solo music places heavy-metal guitar technique beside country and bluegrass picking. John 5 toured with Marilyn Manson on the Rock Is Dead and Guns, God and Government tours, then joined Rob Zombie’s band in 2005. His years with Zombie included the Twins of Evil Tour, while his own catalog became the basis for club tours by John 5 and the Creatures. In 2023, he joined Mötley Crüe on the World Tour. That year he performed at Download Festival in Donington Park and Hellfest in Clisson as part of Mötley Crüe.
