About John Lees' Barclay James Harvest

John Lees' Barclay James Harvest is a British progressive rock band led by guitarist, singer and songwriter John Lees, a founding member of Barclay James Harvest. Formed in 1998 under the name Barclay James Harvest Through the Eyes of John Lees, the group carries forward songs including “Mocking Bird” and “Hymn” while also recording its own material on albums such as Nexus and North.

The band documented a 2006 concert at Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on the release Legacy: Live at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire. A more intimate 2010 performance was filmed and recorded for Live at Metropolis Studios.
