John Mayer in Uncasville

John Mayer is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in 1977, who plays acoustic pop-rock, blues and soul. His best-known work includes the albums Room for Squares, Heavier Things and Continuum, and the songs “Your Body Is a Wonderland,” “Daughters,” “Waiting on the World to Change” and “Gravity.” The 2002 tour supporting Room for Squares produced the live album Any Given Thursday, recorded in Birmingham, Alabama. In 2007 he filmed Where the Light Is at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, dividing the concert among an acoustic set, the John Mayer Trio and his full band. He later mounted The Search for Everything World Tour in 2017 and presented concerts alone on guitar and piano during the Solo tour in 2023. His headline touring has centered on the United States, while the Born and Raised World Tour also included arena concerts in London and Amsterdam.
