John Pizzarelli in Tucson

John Pizzarelli is an American jazz guitarist and singer born in Paterson, New Jersey, in 1960. A seven-string guitarist and the son of guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli, he is known for swing, vocal jazz and interpretations of the Great American Songbook. His recordings include Dear Mr. Cole, John Pizzarelli Meets the Beatles and Midnight McCartney. In the 1990s, he opened for Frank Sinatra on tour. He later established a long-running concert partnership with singer Jessica Molaskey, including recurring engagements at Café Carlyle in New York.
