Jon and Roy in Vancouver

Jon and Roy are a Canadian folk-rock duo formed in Victoria, British Columbia, by singer-guitarist Jon Middleton and percussionist Roy Vizer. Their relaxed acoustic sound draws on folk, rock and reggae, and their catalogue includes the albums Another Noon, Homes and Riverside, as well as songs such as “Little Bit of Love” and “Runner.” Jon and Roy built their live audience through club and festival touring in Canada and Europe, and they have supported Xavier Rudd on tour. Their concerts are led by Middleton’s vocals and guitar and Vizer’s percussion, while the recurring Jon and Roy Holiday Special became a year-end hometown event in Victoria.
