Jonas Alaska in Jessheim

Jonas Alaska is a Norwegian singer-songwriter from Åmli who writes English-language acoustic folk, Americana and pop. His self-titled debut won the newcomer category at the Spellemann awards and included “October” and “In the Backseat”; later albums include If Only as a Ghost and Younger. Before launching his solo career, Jonas Alaska toured as a guitarist in Thomas Dybdahl’s band. He has performed his own catalogue solo and with a full band, including an appearance at Øya Festival in Oslo.
