About José Luis Perales
José Luis Perales is a Spanish singer-songwriter, born in Castejón, Cuenca, in 1945. His melodic pop ballads include “Y cómo es él”, “Un velero llamado libertad” and “Te quiero”; he also wrote “Porque te vas”, recorded by Jeanette.
The Baladas para una despedida tour was conceived as his farewell to the stage and was postponed during the pandemic before resuming across Spain and Latin America. The tour concluded in 2023 at Madrid’s WiZink Center.
