Josh Garrels in Lawrence

Josh Garrels is an American singer-songwriter from South Bend, Indiana, who writes indie folk shaped by Christian faith. His best-known recordings include the albums Love & War & The Sea in Between and Home, as well as the songs “Farther Along,” “Ulysses” and “Born Again.” Josh Garrels performed a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR Music, presenting his songs in a close acoustic setting. Mason Jar Music later documented a series of ensemble performances for the film The Sea in Between, recorded around Mayne Island in British Columbia.
