Julia Holter is an American singer, composer and producer associated with Los Angeles. She writes experimental art pop shaped by electronic music and chamber composition, and is known for albums including Ekstasis, Loud City Song, Have You in My Wilderness and Aviary, as well as songs such as “Feel You” and “Sea Calls Me Home.”

The 2017 live-in-the-studio album In the Same Room captured her touring band at RAK Studios in London, revisiting material from several stages of her catalogue in concert arrangements. She later took Aviary into theatres and festivals with an ensemble built around voice, keyboards, strings, bass and percussion, then performed material from Something in the Room She Moves on tour in 2024.
