About Panda Bear
Panda Bear is the solo project of Baltimore-born American musician Noah Lennox, a co-founder of Animal Collective. His experimental psychedelic pop is built around layered vocals, samples and repetition; he is best known for the album Person Pitch and songs including “Bros” and “Comfy in Nautica.”
A 2010 concert on Governors Island in New York previewed songs that appeared on Tomboy the following year. His 2015 concerts for Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper used a solo setup centered on voice, samples and electronics, and he followed them with performances built around Buoys in 2019.
Panda Bear played Coachella in 2015. In 2023, he and Sonic Boom performed Reset at Primavera Sound in Barcelona.
