Junretsu in Hamamatsu

Junretsu is a Japanese male vocal group formed in 2007, performing kayōkyoku and mood kayō in the tradition of sentimental popular song. The group made its major-label debut with “Namida no Ginza Line” and is also known for songs including “Propose” and “Junretsu no Happy Birthday.” Junretsu built its audience through repeated performances at super sentō bathhouse complexes and health centres around Japan. In 2018, the group made its first appearance on NHK’s Kōhaku Uta Gassen at NHK Hall, then expanded its stage work through concert and theatrical productions at Tokyo’s Meiji-za.
