Artist
Kaizers Orchestra are a Norwegian alternative-rock band formed in 2000. Their music is marked by lyrics in the Jæren dialect, pump organ and heavy percussion; the debut album Ompa til du dør, Maestro and the song “Hjerteknuser” are central works in their catalogue. The concert film Viva La Vega documented the band’s performance at Vega in Copenhagen. Their Siste dans farewell tour ended at DNB Arena in Stavanger in 2013, closing a long period of touring before the group’s hiatus. Kaizers Orchestra returned to the road in 2023 for the Dine gamle dager er nå tour.
