Karnivool in Coffs Harbour

Karnivool are an Australian progressive rock band formed in Perth in 1997 around vocalist Ian Kenny. Their music combines intricate rhythms, heavy guitars and melodic vocals, and they are known for the albums Themata, Sound Awake and Asymmetry, as well as songs including “New Day,” “Goliath” and “We Are.” In 2010, Karnivool toured North America with Fair to Midland during the Sound Awake era. They later revisited that album for The Decade of Sound Awake, performing it in full for a filmed concert at the Heath Ledger Theatre. Their festival appearances have included Download Festival at Donington Park and Hellfest in Clisson.
