Kasalla are a German band formed in Cologne in 2011, playing rock and pop in the Kölsch dialect. They are known for songs including “Pirate,” “Stadt met K” and “Alle Jläser huh,” which have become part of Cologne’s modern carnival repertoire. In 2016, Kasalla marked their fifth anniversary with a concert at Lanxess Arena. Six years later, the band staged a delayed anniversary show at RheinEnergieStadion, bringing its Kölsch-language catalogue to a stadium audience.
