Katherine Jenkins in Aylesbury

Katherine Jenkins is a Welsh mezzo-soprano, born in Neath in 1980, who sings classical crossover, opera arias, hymns and popular standards. She became known through albums including Premiere, Second Nature and Living a Dream, as well as televised performances at British national occasions. In 2012, Jenkins performed with Alfie Boe at the Diamond Jubilee Concert outside Buckingham Palace. She later sang at the VE Day 70 concert at Horse Guards Parade in 2015, continuing a run of appearances at military and royal commemorations. Her headline concert work has also taken her to the Royal Albert Hall, where she has performed with orchestral accompaniment and guest vocalists.
