かつしかトリオ in Chiyoda City

かつしかトリオ is a Japanese instrumental jazz-fusion trio formed in 2021 by former Casiopea members Minoru Mukaiya, Tetsuo Sakurai and Akira Jimbo. The group revisits music connected with their earlier band while developing original material, including the album M.R.I_ミライ. A 2021 concert at Katsushika Symphony Hills brought the three musicians together as a new live unit. They subsequently took the project on tour in Japan and added their own compositions to the repertoire after the release of M.R.I_ミライ. The concerts use the trio’s core instrumental format: Mukaiya on keyboards, Sakurai on bass and Jimbo on drums.
