Kazuya Yoshii in Tokyo

Kazuya Yoshii is a Japanese rock singer-songwriter, born in Tokyo in 1966 and best known as the vocalist and guitarist of The Yellow Monkey. He began recording solo as Yoshii Lovinson before releasing music under his own name; his solo catalogue includes the albums 39108 and The Apples, while “Chōzetsu Dynamic!” served as an opening theme for Dragon Ball Super. The AT THE BLACK HOLE TOUR brought his early solo material to Japanese stages in 2004. He later established year-end concerts at Nippon Budokan under the YOSHII BUDOKAN title, then returned to arena touring as the singer of the reunited The Yellow Monkey in 2016.
