About Keane
Keane are an English rock band formed in Battle, East Sussex, in 1995. Their piano-led alternative pop became widely known through the album Hopes and Fears and songs including “Somewhere Only We Know,” “Everybody’s Changing” and “Bedshaped”; later releases brought “Is It Any Wonder?” and “Spiralling.”
The Under the Iron Sea Tour included a 2007 concert at London’s O2 Arena that was filmed for Keane Live. After returning to the road for the Cause and Effect Tour in 2019, the band mounted the Hopes and Fears 20 Tour in 2024, performing the debut album alongside songs from across their catalogue.
Their full-band concerts center on Tom Chaplin’s lead vocal and Tim Rice-Oxley’s keyboards, supported by Richard Hughes on drums and Jesse Quin on bass.
Keane returned to Mexico and Brazil for headline concerts across multiple album cycles.
