Kenny Wayne Shepherd in New Brunswick

Kenny Wayne Shepherd is an American blues-rock guitarist, singer and songwriter, born in Louisiana in 1977. His 1995 debut album, Ledbetter Heights, established his guitar-led sound, while Trouble Is... produced his signature song “Blue on Black.” The 2007 concert film and album 10 Days Out: Blues from the Backroads documented performances with B.B. King, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown and other blues musicians, culminating in a concert at the Strand Theatre in Shreveport. Live! in Chicago later captured his band at the House of Blues; the set also featured Hubert Sumlin, Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, Bryan Lee and Buddy Flett.
