Kiyoharu in Kōriyama

Kiyoharu is a Japanese rock singer-songwriter, born in Gifu in 1968. He first became known as the vocalist of Kuroyume and later led Sads before beginning a solo career with the album poetry. His solo catalogue includes songs such as “Emily” and “Slow,” drawing on alternative rock, glam rock and post-punk. The Monthly Plugless series presented his songs in acoustic arrangements at Mt. Rainier Hall Shibuya Pleasure Pleasure. He has also toured with a full backing band, and in 2018 he marked his 50th birthday with a concert at Tokyo International Forum Hall A.
