Klaus Lage is a German rock and pop singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in Soltau in 1950. He is best known for “1000 und 1 Nacht (Zoom!),” “Monopoli” and “Faust auf Faust,” while the album Schweißperlen established the direct, German-language rock style associated with his work. The Klaus Lage Band toured German concert halls during the 1980s, performing his songs as a full rock group. He later toured the theatre programme Zu zweit, arranging the repertoire for voice, guitar and piano with Bo Heart.
