Koos Kombuis Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Koos Kombuis is a South African singer-songwriter, writer and poet, born André le Roux du Toit in Cape Town in 1954. He first worked under the name André Letoit and became part of the anti-establishment Voëlvry movement, writing alternative rock and folk songs in Afrikaans. His best-known songs include “Lisa se Klavier” and “Johnny is nie dood nie”, while Niemandsland is among the albums associated with his early career.

On the 1989 Voëlvry tour, he performed at campuses and halls around South Africa alongside Johannes Kerkorrel and Bernoldus Niemand. He later brought his songs to the Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees in Oudtshoorn and to Aardklop in Potchefstroom.
