La Chicane is a Canadian francophone rock band formed in Val-d’Or, Quebec, in 1993. Fronted by singer Boom Desjardins, the group is known for the albums En catimini and Disparu, and for songs including “Calvaire,” “Tu m'manques,” “Juste pour voir le monde” and “Quand ça va ben.” In 2017, La Chicane returned to the stage after more than a decade apart and began performing again across Quebec. Its concerts present the band’s rock and chanson repertoire in a full-band format led by Boom Desjardins.
