Paul Piché in Sherbrooke

Paul Piché is a Canadian singer-songwriter, born in 1953, whose French-language music draws on Quebec chanson, folk rock and pop. His 1977 debut album, À qui appartient l’beau temps?, included “Heureux d’un printemps” and “Mon Joe”; “L’escalier” and “Essaye donc pas” also became central songs in his repertoire. In 2017, Paul Piché marked the debut album’s 40th anniversary with the 40 printemps concert at Les Francos de Montréal. The production then toured theatres across Quebec under the same name, 40 printemps.
