About Lack Of Afro
Lack of Afro is the recording project founded in 2006 by English multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ Adam Gibbons. Its funk, soul, jazz and breakbeat sound was established on the album Press On, which includes “The Outsider,” and developed across records including My Groove Your Move and This Time.
Glastonbury Festival and The Big Chill were among the British festivals that booked the project as its catalogue expanded beyond Press On. The music has been presented in live-band concerts as well as DJ sets led by Adam Gibbons.
