About Laurent Garnier
Laurent Garnier is a French DJ, producer and composer, born in Boulogne-Billancourt in 1966. He plays techno, house and jazz-inflected electronica, and is known for tracks including “Crispy Bacon” and “The Man with the Red Face,” as well as the albums 30 and Unreasonable Behaviour.
In the late 1980s, he DJed at The Haçienda in Manchester under the name DJ Pedro. After returning to Paris, he launched the Wake Up nights at Rex Club with Eric Morand. In 2009, he presented his live project with Scan X and keyboardist Benjamin Rippert at Salle Pleyel.
He also performed at Sónar in Barcelona and Movement in Detroit.
